Nicarbazine, also known as coccidiostat, is a broad-spectrum, highly effective and stable performance anticoccidial feed additive for the prevention and treatment of coccidiosis in chickens and other avian species due to infection with fowl caecum coccidia and Eimeria hepatica, giant, toxococcus, and Eimeria burgdorferi coccidia. It is widely used in the breeding of chickens because of its good effect and relatively high safety.

It is slightly soluble in dimethylformamide and insoluble in water, ethanol, ethyl acetate, chloroform and ether. It can be used to prevent coccidiosis in chickens and turkeys.

Application
Nicarbazine Is a potent anti-coccidian agent and a broad-spectrum parasite agent. For the light yellow crystalline powder, odorless. Melting point of 265-275℃ (decomposition). Not hygroscopic, insoluble in water, ethanol, chloroform and ether, and slightly soluble in dimethylformamide. Grinding with water will slowly decompose, in the dilute acid decomposition is faster. This product is an anti-coccididrug for the treatment of chicken coccidiosis, and has good preventive effect on coccidus and pile, giant, poison and wave. It has the advantages of high efficiency, low toxicity, stable performance and small drug resistance. This product can be combined with coccididiester drug better effect.
