Application
Sulfaquinoxaline sodium is a coccidiostat commonly used in poultry. It has the strongest effect on chicken giant, brucellosis, and Eimeria hepatica, but is weaker against tender, toxigenic Eimeria hepatica. Higher concentrations are usually needed for it to be effective. Therefore, this product is usually combined with ampicillin or antimicrobial synergists to expand the anthelmintic spectrum and enhance the anticoccidial effect. It is also used in other animals. Sulfaquinoxaline is widely used to treat coccidiosis in young ruminant and small animals, including lamb, rabbit, calf, and mink etchococcosis.
