Benzalkonium chloride as an important cationic quaternary ammonium surfactant as a typical organic antimicrobial agent in several fields for over 50 years.
Benzalkonium chloride as bactericidal agent, generally added dose of 50-100 mg/L; sludge stripping agent, dosage of 200-300 mg/L, appropriate amount of silicone defoaming agent can be added when needed. Benzalkonium chloride can be used with other fungicides, such as isothiazolinone, glutaraldehyde, dithiocyanoxymethane, which can play a synergistic effect, but can not be used together with chlorophenolic agents. After adding benzalkonium chloride in the circulating water due to stripping, the dirt should be filtered out or pulled out in time to avoid deposition after foam disappearance. Benzalkonium chloride should not be mixed with anionic surfactants such as polyacrylic acid, hydrolyzed polyhorse HPMA, etc.
