Application
Magnesium oxide can supplement the magnesium of dairy cows, poultry, swine, and freshwater fish and prevent magnesium deficiency when added to their feed. Furthermore, adding oxidase to dairy cow feed can regulate rumen fermentation and enhance the absorption of milk-synthesizing precursors by mammary glands. As a result, milk output and fat rate can increase. Based on the principle that magnesium ions can work alongside sodium and potassium ions to maintain osmotic pressure balance within and outside the cell, magnesium oxide can alleviate cows' heat stress response. This, in turn, increases their feed intake during summer, preserving milk production. Additionally, poultry and pigs can improve the quality and quantity of their meat by consuming magnesium oxide.
