Bacitracin zinc premix is a complex formed by bacillus peptide and zinc ion, which belongs to peptide antibiotic, and it is the most widely used antibiotic feed additives at present, and the zinc content is generally between 2% and 12%. Bacitracin zinc premix has strong antibacterial effect on Gram-positive bacteria, and also has antibacterial property on some Gram-negative bacteria. The use of bacitracin zinc premixin full-price feed for pigs can promote growth rate, improve feed remuneration, and prevent and control bacterial diarrhoea and chronic respiratory diseases in pigs. Used as a feed additive is mainly used to promote the growth of livestock and poultry, prevent and control bacterial diarrhoea of livestock and poultry and swine haemodysentery caused by dense spirochetes.Bacitracin zinc premix is almost non-absorbable when taken internally, and most of it is excreted with faeces in 2 days, so it is not easy to remain in livestock and poultry products; bacteria are rarely resistant to bacillus peptide, there is no cross-resistance to other antibiotics, and there is a synergistic effect with penicillin, streptomycin, neomycin, aureomycin, polymyxin etc. It is toxic and cannot be injected into pigs and other animals.
