Spectinomycin dihydrochloride belongs to alkaline antimicrobial, the stronger its antibacterial efficacy; but spectinomycin is not dissolved in water, so the most commonly used commercial original drug in China is spectinomycin hydrochloride. Under its quality assurance standard, the eye is white or white crystalline powder; it is easily soluble in water, and the aqueous solution is acidic, the pH of 1% aqueous solution is 3.8-5.6. It is not dissolved in organic solvents such as methanol, ethanol, and propylene glycol. The antibacterial mechanism of spectinomycin hydrochloride, like other aminoglycoside antibiotics, is also selectively acting on the 30s subunit of bacterial cell nuclear protein body after entering bacterial cells, thus having a strong inhibitory effect on the synthesis of proteins in bacterial cells and producing a strong killing effect on sensitive bacteria.
