Oxibendazole is highly effective against roundworms, hookworms, and whipworms. It has superior efficacy against duodenal and American hookworms compared to other parasiticides. With 2-day or 3-day therapy, the egg conversion rate can reach 56% to 100%.The efficacy of general parasiticides for whipworm is poor. Oxantel has a whipworm egg transfer rate of up to 70%, but it is ineffective for hookworms and roundworms. On the other hand,oxibendazole is effective not only for hookworms and roundworms but also for whipworms, with an efficacy rate of about 70%. It is an excellent parasiticide.
