Application

vitamin d3 price list

Vitamin D3 is the most crucial vitamin for promoting the absorption of calcium and phosphorus. It plays a vital role in the formation of bones, teeth, and other tissues by facilitating their incorporation into these structures. Without sufficient vitamin D3, even if there is an adequate amount of calcium and phosphorus present, their utilization efficiency will be significantly reduced. Therefore, long-term supplementation of vitamin D3 in livestock and poultry feed is essential to ensure optimal health. The addition of vitamin D3 to animal feed promotes the absorption of calcium and phosphorus, while its deficiency can hinder the absorption of dietary calcium leading to bone dysplasia and thinning eggshells.

Dosage

The utilization rate of vitamin D2 and D3 is equivalent in pigs, whereas the utilization rate of vitamin D2 in poultry is only 1/40-1/30 compared to that of D3. In cases of vitamin D3 deficiency, eggshells tend to become thinner, resulting in a decrease in egg-laying rate and the occurrence of rickets. The recommended dosage is 1000-1500 IU/kg.
