Application
Flumequine's main function is to inhibit bacterial deoxynucleic acid (DNA) gyrase, make the synthesis of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) protein interference, so that cells can no longer divide, so as to play the role of sterilization. Mainly used in livestock and poultry bacterial respiratory diseases, Escherichia coli, white dysentery, salmonellosis, typhoid fever, avian cholera, staphylococcal disease infectious rhinitis, etc. Escherichia coli, monospora and Vibriococcus, aeromonas hydrophila have strong inhibition. Fluromequine first developed by Rinker laboratory, from the 1970s in the European Union and Japan and other countries widely used in livestock and poultry and aquaculture, for a variety of gram-negative bacteria infection has a good curative effect, especially for Escherichia coli, mycoplasma, water caused by livestock, poultry and aquatic animal diseases have good curative effect. In the late 1990s, China gradually developed and marketed, mainly used for the prevention and control of salmon, trout, shrimp, eel, pigs, chicken and other bacterial infectious diseases. Because the quinolone antimicrobial fluoromequine sodium can inhibit bacterial DNA helicase, it has a wide antibacterial spectrum, high efficiency, low toxicity, strong tissue penetration and no anesthetic effect. It has become one of the most important anti-infective drugs in veterinary clinical treatment and aquaculture, and is widely used for treatment, prevention and growth promotion. Due to its drug resistance and potential carcinogenicity, the EU, Japan and China have set the highest residue limits in their organizations (100 ppb in China and the EU). At present, the detection methods for flumequine mainly include fluorescence spectrophotometry, enzyme linking method (ELISA) and liquid chromatography.
